Tell us a bit about your company and what it does?
Mackey Research Management Software (RMS) was conceived and developed by veterans of the hedge fund, enterprise software and cloud computing industries.
We recognized that legacy research management software lacked features suited for today’s modern analyst. The MackeyRMS platform is extremely automated, mobile, and user friendly. In a nutshell, our primary goal is to simplify the research process by removing unnecessary steps. MackeyRMS is an extremely intuitive solution allowing investment professionals to focus on finding the right investments much quicker and more efficiently.
In particular, our software provides file sharing and collaboration capabilities on a single, web-based platform that offers real-time compliance monitoring, a mature CRM database, and allows users to sort threads by ticker, topic, timeline, contact, keyword and more – all automated and accessible with notes, contacts, models, events, documents and conversations. It’s both comprehensive and efficient.

What is your company’s next target/milestone?
We recently announced major updates to our overall user interface and experience. The re-imagined platform boasts improved usability, automation and mobility, allowing clients to more efficiently multi-task throughout the system. We are in the midst of overhauling our full-feature apps for iPad and iPhone, and are working on client-driven functionality related to MiFID II and a very fluid regulatory environment.
We continue to listen to client feedback, and don’t hesitate to act on it. Our team is constantly deploying new updates and improvements, as our SaaS platform allows for speedy deployments to customers.

We are proud to be 100% employee owned. We have never taken a cent of outside capital, and have maintained profitability every year since inception.
